She# Expands into the United States: Connecting Women in Technology

Boundless Connections is proud to announce that we have been chosen as the expansion partner for She# into the United States.

Olean, NEW YORK, December 11, 2018.  (PR-US) – In 2014, Dr. Mahsa Mohaghegh, PhD founded She# (pronounced “She Sharp”) with a clear mission: Invite more women into technology. 4 years and 26 events later She# is expanding into The United States. Boundless Connections is proud to announce that we have been chosen as the expansion partner for She# and are thrilled to join this mission.

I hope She# can bring about the much-needed change to the gender split in tech and believe that working together is the way to do this,” says Dr. Mahsa McCauley (Mohaghegh), Founder/Director She#, Lecturer AUT, NZ.

We believe the only way forward is for men and women is to work together and learn from each other,” says Christina Lopez, founder and CEO at Boundless Connections, “She# events provide a catalyst for real progress in the tech sector and we are honored to bring this program to the US!”

The great part about this initiative is that it is open to everyone. Anyone interested in getting more women involved in the tech industry is welcome to join. The events are designed to show women how interactive and exciting the tech field is by using hands on activities with various professionals in the IT field. Through these events, participants will get a better idea of how rewarding and impactful a career in the tech industry can be. From artificial intelligence to cyber security, a career in computers has a direct impact on society and the future.

Boundless Connections will be partnering with various organizations, colleges, and businesses to set up regular She# meetings and events throughout each area as it expands its operations throughout the US over the next two years. It will also assist other locations in the US that are interested in developing a She# chapter in their area.
