Wilcox joins Boundless Connections as program outreach manager

Ryan Michelle Wilcox has joined Boundless Connections as the company’s program outreach manager for the pilot Technology Center initiative in Olean.

Ryan, a 2004 St. Bonaventure University journalism and mass communications program graduate, will be responsible for creating and sharing program-related content and building and maintaining relationships in the community, including those with students and local employers.

As liaison with local schools, colleges and funding organizations, her efforts will be aimed at recruiting participants for programs, as well as coordinating with various agencies to offset program costs and fees for participants.

“We’re really excited to have Ryan join our team,” said Christina Lopez, CEO. “We’ve been busy developing programs, clubs, and events for the community and its time to get the word out about what’s happening right here in Olean. Ryan’s experience, enthusiasm, and connection to the area is exactly what we need to take this pilot initiative to the next level.”

With a background in communications, Ryan also has held positions as a reporter and social media specialist. Most recently, she acted as manager of donor services at the Cattaraugus Region Community Foundation.

She holds a degree in journalism and mass communication from St. Bonaventure University.

A 2007 graduate of Leadership Cattaraugus, she is secretary of the Cattaraugus Community Action board of directors.
