TECH Unleashed & Recruits Camp Starts Tomorrow
Winter Session December 27th & 28th, 2017
10am-4pm:TECH Unleashed is for teens aged 13-17 who are interested in computer and mobile technology to expand and combine their skills in service to the community. This camp is for any youth interested in programming, graphic art, 3D printing, and video/audio editing. Together, they can accomplish so much more than on their own.

TECH Unleashed explores various technology through community service projects of their choosing. This process allows them to develop technical problem solving, teamwork, leadership, research, public speaking, project and time management – everything they need for a career in any field.
Boundless Connections, Strength Solutions, Sol Epoxy, United Way, and Directions in Independent Living, have combined resources to make this affordable for the young techies in our area. The cost for 2 days is $99 including lunch and snacks. Scholarships are available upon request.
1pm-4pm: TECH Recruits is for kids 11 & 12 years old who are interested in any kind of digital technology.

TECH Recruits will have the opportunity to explore and develop their skills in web development, programming, databases, video/audio editing, Microsoft Office, 3D printing, basic networking and cable routing, and any other digital tech we can get our hands on! This will prepare them for the next level of digital engagement which is our TECH Unleashed group where they put their skills to use for the community.
To most people, what we do will look like play – and it is! However, everything we do has a dual purpose: First, we want the kids to be excited about engaging with technology. Second, we want the kids to learn how to transfer what they learn by playing into engaging with the rest of the world.
